During his stay in Vícar, the Minister of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Cortes, strongly criticized the “privatization” that, according to him, the Andalusian PP promotes. The visit, which took place on Wednesday, served to launch a pre-campaign message ahead of the upcoming regional elections.
The minister highlighted the Vícar Agricultural School as an example of public management, emphasizing the importance of training for young people in the agricultural sector. In this context, he championed the public management model promoted by the municipality.
“"On May 17, two models will confront each other in Andalusia. Citizens should vote for what best suits them."
The socialist leader contrasted two visions for Andalusia: one based on “prioritizing the private” and “the power to do business,” which he attributed to the PP, and another that, according to him, the PSOE and the municipality of Vícar represent, focused on the “quality of life of the people” through public management. He highlighted municipal initiatives such as nursery schools, sports facilities, and vocational training centers.
Furthermore, the minister linked this model with the candidacy of a prominent PSOE figure for the Andalusian elections, insisting on the need to strengthen public services against privatization policies.
