The event, held at the School of Industrial Engineering, was promoted by the UMA-Business Office as part of its 'Connecting UMA with the Business Fabric' program. Its main objective is to build bridges between university research and the needs of the productive sector.
Attendees included representatives from prominent groups such as 'Andalucía Aerospace', 'On Tech Innovation', 'Railway Innovation Hub', and 'Smart City Clúster'. Numerous university researchers, institute staff, and personnel from the Office for the Transfer of Research Results (OTRI) also participated.

During the conference, a round table was held where the general directors of the participating clusters presented their R&D work lines and shared experiences of collaboration with academic institutions. The organization has announced that this meeting is the first in a series, with the intention of integrating other relevant clusters for the university in future editions.
A spokesperson for the national federation of clusters, who chairs the entity from Málaga, emphasized the relevance of UMA's participation in these initiatives, highlighting how it facilitates connections between companies of various sizes to achieve more ambitious goals. He also underscored the dynamism of Málaga's technological ecosystem, a result of the collaboration between the university and Málaga Tech Park.
