These grants, which can reach up to 5,000 euros per entity, will be available for application until June 9. The vice-president and deputy of Sports, Juan Rosas, announced this initiative, recalling the Provincial Council's ongoing commitment to Malagueño sports through the Málaga Compite program.
The aid will be awarded on a non-competitive basis, prioritizing applications in order of arrival. Various sports entities from Málaga, including federations, confederations, sports clubs, sports sections, sports public limited companies, and sports associations, are eligible.
The funds are intended to cover current expenses incurred and paid between July 31, 2025, and May 26, 2026, the date the call was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Málaga (BOPMA).
Eligible expenses include the rental of sports facilities, transport and accommodation costs for competitions, accident or civil liability insurance premiums, federation fees such as dues and licenses, and salary costs for technical and sports staff.
