The eleventh edition of the FIBA-organized European competition will hold its official draw on Wednesday, July 8, at the Patrick Baumann House of Basketball in Mies, Switzerland. A total of 54 teams are involved in the process, with 30 already confirmed for the regular season.
The competition format remains consistent with previous years. The 32 teams in the regular season will be divided into eight groups of four, organized into four pots based on club and country rankings. BCL regulations prohibit two teams from the same country from being drawn into the same group during this phase.
In addition to the direct qualifiers, 24 other teams will compete in qualifying tournaments from September 14 to 20, 2026, to secure the final two spots. The regular season is scheduled to begin on October 6, 2026, with the play-in and Round of 16 stages following a pre-determined structure based on group standings.
