The affected booths are ‘El Carmen’, located at number 132 on El Real, and ‘Peña Caballista Monteclaro’, at number 4. This action was taken after both were found to be in breach of the Fair Ordinance and failed to rectify detected violations within the stipulated 24-hour period following a prior warning.
In the case of ‘El Carmen’, municipal services identified a serious infringement concerning the enclosure's lighting. The ordinance mandates maintaining adequate illumination until 2:00 AM to prevent dark areas.
Meanwhile, ‘Peña Caballista Monteclaro’ was temporarily closed for violating safety conditions related to emergency exits, an infraction also classified as serious under the municipal regulations.
The Malaga City Council stated that these precautionary closures are independent of any subsequent sanctioning proceedings, meaning both establishments may also face penalties for the detected violations.
