Police officers were dispatched to Santa María beach after receiving complaints from residents about noise and shouting. The officers proceeded to clear the area, identify several attendees, and issue citations for violations related to public gatherings, as reported by the City Council.
The operation at the beach successfully cleared the area. Shortly after, around 3:00 AM, Local Police responded to further calls from neighbors reporting a group of young people causing disturbances in Plaza de Los Balbo.
Officers confirmed that some individuals present in the plaza had previously been identified during the beach incident, and they were instructed to leave the area.
In a separate incident, around 1:15 AM, Local Police responded to a public establishment on Calle Brasil following a report of an agitated woman who had allegedly assaulted several people. Upon the officers' arrival, the woman, showing signs of intoxication, assaulted an off-duty National Police Corps officer, causing minor injuries.
Officers eventually calmed the woman, who then left the premises. An intervention report was filed, documenting the details of the individuals involved and witnesses for the National Police Corps.
