The AMPA La Muela has initiated a solidarity campaign to acquire and install three heat and cold pumps at the educational center. The goal is to ensure that students can engage in activities in more comfortable classrooms during the most extreme months of the year, combating both low winter temperatures and intense summer heat.
Each raffle ticket costs one euro, and the draw will take place on June 19th in the town's theater, coinciding with the school's graduation ceremonies. The campaign seeks the involvement of families and neighbors to address this essential need of the center.
More comfortable classrooms in summer and winter. Their well-being is our priority. Your small help makes big things happen.
This mobilization by parents highlights their commitment to their children's education and reopens the debate on the need for investments to adapt Andalusian school facilities to current climatic conditions. While institutional actions are pending, the families of CEIP Castillo de Los Vélez are taking the initiative to ensure the thermal comfort of the students.
With the television as the main draw, the AMPA expects broad participation to gather the necessary resources so that next academic year, students can attend classes in more suitable thermal conditions.
