The works, carried out during the summer to avoid disrupting academic activities, involved replacing 155 square meters of polycarbonate roofing in the central courtyard and emergency corridor. The intervention has improved the conservatory's safety, functionality, and waterproofing, allowing the central courtyard to be used again for recitals and concerts.
The project also included servicing the roof opening mechanism's motor and painting its supporting metal structure. Additionally, waterproofing work was performed on the conservatory's terrace, renewing the insulation and reinforcing the building's protection against leaks and humidity.

Mayor Santiago Cabello highlighted that the City Council worked to process the intervention and utilize available grants, addressing a real need of the building. He congratulated the institution, which is a benchmark in the northern province of Córdoba and serves approximately 400 students, 44 teachers, and offers 14 musical specialties.
The intervention was partially funded by a grant from the Junta de Andalucía, aimed at local entities affected by adverse natural phenomena.
