The Art Center in Mojácar will be the venue on August 18th for an event focused on literature, memory, and the traditions of the Land of Mojácar. The City Council, as the promoter of the initiative, invites residents and visitors to the presentation of the work El Cuentacuentos de la Axarquía, written by Pepe de Piedad and published by Editorial Arráez.
The publication compiles stories, legends, and narratives inspired by the region, rescuing the oral heritage and traditions that have shaped the area's identity over generations. The book offers a journey through the popular imagination and the cultural richness of a territory with a deep history.
The presentation will provide an opportunity to learn about the book's creative process, share impressions with its author, and enjoy an evening dedicated to literature, collective memory, and the value of stories passed down through generations.
Through this activity, the Mojácar council reaffirms its commitment to promoting cultural initiatives that encourage reading, highlight the municipality's intangible heritage, and bring culture closer to residents and visitors.
Admission is free until full capacity is reached.
