The Executive's representative in Jaén presided over the commemoration of the 182nd anniversary of the Civil Guard's Foundation, conveying the Government's recognition to the Corps' members for their «constant and silent» service to citizens. The institution's trajectory was highlighted, having «remained firm for 182 years» by adapting to new challenges such as cybercrime, organized crime, human trafficking, and extreme weather phenomena.

At the provincial level, the strategic role of the Baeza Civil Guard Academy was emphasized, consolidated as a key training center in Spain with plans to host around 3,000 students next academic year, underscoring its economic and social impact on the surrounding area. Likewise, the reactivation of training activities at the Úbeda Academy was highlighted, which hosts the 47th Course for Sergeants with 150 agents, following an initial investment of 750,000 euros for the rehabilitation of its facilities.

On a national level, it was recalled that since 2018, the Government has announced more than 46,000 positions for the National Police and the Civil Guard, reversing the loss of personnel from previous periods. The latest public employment offer includes 6,094 positions, of which more than 3,200 are for the Civil Guard, as part of a plan aimed at generational change and strengthening public security.

The event also included recognition for the Corps' work in Jaén in areas such as rural security, protection of natural heritage, road safety, victim support, the fight against gender-based violence, and intervention in emergencies and catastrophes. The sub-delegate concluded with a remembrance of officers who died in the line of duty and an acknowledgment of their families.
