The Nerja City Council continues to advance in the improvement and modernization of Maro's streets. The Local Government Board has given the green light to the file and tender documents for the redevelopment of Cantarero street. These actions have a budget of €340,377.96, co-financed by municipal funds and the Provincial Council of Malaga, with a maximum execution period of four months.
Mayor José Alberto Armijo highlighted the importance of these investments for the transformation and modernization of Maro's urban spaces. He noted that the redevelopment of Cantarero street is in addition to the actions already carried out in recent years on San José, San Joaquín, and Cristo streets.
The Councilor for Infrastructure, María del Carmen López, reported that, following the approval of the tender documents, the call has been published on the City Council's Contractor Profile. Interested companies have until September 24 to submit their bids. The project has the mandatory authorization from the Andalusian Regional Government's Delegation of Culture.
The district mayor of Maro, Nuchi Moreno, reaffirmed the City Council's commitment to Maro and the progressive improvement of its infrastructure, working to provide more modern and accessible streets for its residents.
