“"In July 2016, I began a journey that ends today. From the club's first day, the main idea was to enjoy the sport and all the good it brings to those who practice it. Always with the same enthusiasm: to convey to young and old the happiness a ball can bring. The club's growth was possible thanks to the human and sporting quality of everyone who was part of these ten seasons. I close this chapter of my life grateful and happy for all the memories lived and for all the people I carry forever in my heart."

CD Avanza Jaén has announced the departure of Quique García as head coach of the first team after seven seasons, marking the end of an important cycle for the Jaén-based club.
The capital city club officially communicated the decision this Wednesday, thanking the Jiennense coach for his "commitment, dedication, and work" during a significant period that included promotion to the second tier of Spanish futsal.
Quique García's tenure, which also fostered the entity's human and social growth, is marked by three category promotions. Under his leadership, the team evolved and consolidated, gaining prominence in the Andalusian scene.
Beyond the first team's results, García's fundamental role in developing the club's youth categories has been highlighted. He led the creation of the first U16 and U15 teams in the 2016-2017 season and served as youth coordinator, ensuring the academy is now one of the most representative in regional futsal.
The club also emphasizes his contribution to strengthening the entity's identity within the city and province, creating "a close, humble identity recognized by all fans." Avanza Jaén will begin a new chapter in Segunda División B with "renewed energy" on its bench.
