The University of Jaén has completed the public consultation phase aimed at collecting contributions, observations, and relevant information for the modification of its Statutes. This process has involved various sectors of the university community, including students, teaching and research staff (PDI), and technical, management, and administrative and service staff (PTGAS).
The public exposition was carried out as part of the preparatory actions promoted by the General Secretariat of the UJA. The objective is to adequately determine and value the Statutes that will later need to be approved by the University Senate. The drafting committee has prepared a draft following intensive work, which has been submitted for this consultation.
The consultation period ran from June 24 to July 22, with a specific channel enabled for any member of the university community to submit their proposals. This process has been complemented by several rounds of meetings between university groups and the drafting committee, seeking to present the text and encourage active participation in its elaboration.
Through this initiative, the academic institution aims to ensure that the design of its future Statutes achieves the highest possible degree of consensus and representativeness among its members.
