A total of 2,674 out of 2,851 students who took the University Access Phase (PAU) in the province of Jaén have passed, representing a 93.8% success rate, identical to the figure recorded in the June 2025 session. The average score for the admission phase was 7.50, virtually unchanged from the previous year.
Grades were distributed via SMS messages and emails sent to students starting at 10 AM today, informing them of their scores in both phases. Students can obtain their provisional electronically signed Qualification Card using the credentials provided by the University of Jaén.
The Access Phase score is calculated by weighting the test score at 40% and the high school average at 60%. This score is permanent, and to improve it, students must retake the entire phase (four exams).
Students have the option to request a review of their exams from Thursday, June 11, until Tuesday, June 16, at 2 PM, using the same online application used to check their grades. The results of these appeals will be published on June 22, and the first university place allocation will occur on July 3.
The pre-registration period for applying for degree programs at public universities in Andalusia will be open online via the Distrito Único Andaluz website from June 11 to June 22.
The University of Jaén will offer 3,384 new intake places for the 2026-2027 academic year, distributed across 55 degree programs, including the new degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Digital Industry. The first allocation for the entire public university system in Andalusia will be announced on July 3.
The extraordinary July session for the PAU will take place on June 30 and July 1 and 2. Registration for this test is open until June 23 at 11:59 PM. Provisional results will be announced on the morning of July 9, and students who pass this test can pre-register from July 9 to July 14, with the first allocation on July 24.
