The collection, titled Ruido (Noise), is the first signature proposal from Mente Inquieta Design, the brand created by a designer from Huelva. This event, scheduled for Thursday, May 14 at 6:00 PM at La Casona de Huelva, promises to be a comprehensive visual experience that extends beyond mere fashion.
The flamenco and Andalusian inspiration, deeply rooted in the creator's background, is reinterpreted with a contemporary approach. Tailoring provides structure to the garments, while the rebellious energy of 1980s punk creates a distinctive visual and conceptual contrast. The name Ruido symbolizes the need to be heard in a historical context of transition and the pursuit of freedom.
Beyond aesthetics, the collection prompts reflection on Spain's recent past and its echo in the present, focusing on female empowerment and the visibility of groups that have fought for their place in society. The show will integrate hairdressing, makeup, and conceptual design to build a cohesive narrative.
The event benefits from extensive professional collaboration, including audiovisual coverage and live streaming. Various brands and beauty industry teams are participating in the staging, strengthening Huelva's creative fabric and supporting emerging talent in local fashion.
Access to the fashion show will be limited due to capacity, although areas in the Isla Chica district of Huelva will be set up for those interested in following the experience. With Ruido, the city is not just hosting a fashion show, but a statement of intent on fashion's role as memory, identity, and voice.
