The incident occurred around six in the morning within the municipality of Albolote, when the truck overturned while navigating a curve at one of the junctions connecting the A92 with the GR30, the Circunvalación.
Emergency services, including the Guardia Civil, firefighters, and medical personnel, were alerted by the 112 emergency line. The firefighters' intervention was critical in freeing the driver, who had become trapped inside the vehicle's cabin.
Although details regarding the driver's health status or whether they were transported to a hospital have not been released, the accident necessitated the closure of the affected road section shortly after seven in the morning, as reported by the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT). The overturned truck obstructed part of the roadway, impacting traffic flow.
