Over the coming days, the entity will visit the various educational centers that make up its consortium. The objective is to provide detailed information on the diverse international mobility opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program, as well as to guide interested individuals through the application and selection process.
The scholarships are designed for students in Intermediate Vocational Training cycles, enabling them to undertake practical training periods in companies and entities abroad. This international experience complements their professional education. Additionally, the Conservatorio Profesional de Música Catedrático Antonio García Herrera participates, offering group mobilities focused on musical training.
The program also includes opportunities for teaching and administrative staff from participating centers. These encompass 'Job Shadowing' activities (workplace observation), teaching or training stays, and course attendance. These mobilities aim to foster the exchange of experiences and knowledge with professionals from other countries, and the subsequent application of acquired learning within the local educational environment.
The Erasmus+ Vocational Training consortium coordinated by La Mancomunidad de Desarrollo Condado de Huelva currently comprises nine educational centers in the region: IES La Palma, IES Catedrático Pulido Rubio, CPIFP Profesor José Luis Graíño, IES Doñana, IES Juan Ramón Jiménez, IES Delgado Hernández, CEP Bollullos-Valverde, Centro de Formación Profesional Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes, and the aforementioned Conservatorio Profesional de Música Catedrático Antonio García Herrera.
As the coordinating entity, the Mancomunidad manages the program comprehensively. This includes information dissemination and the initial selection process, through to the support, monitoring, and justification of mobility stays.
The Mancomunidad possesses a solid track record in managing Erasmus+ projects, having facilitated a total of 527 international mobilities since 2017. Of these, 330 have benefited students and 197 have involved teaching staff, providing valuable training and exchange experiences abroad.
