The Matriz Brotherhood has formalized the creation of its Communication and Press Office, a permanent structure aimed at developing coherent and professional institutional communication.
This new office will be responsible for the strategy and content of the Brotherhood's communication channels, the protection of its image, coverage of key events in the Rocío calendar, and the typical functions of a press office, including media and journalist relations, press releases, and official information and resources.
One of the Office's main objectives is to ensure that El Rocío is accurately represented, both from Almonte and from the institution responsible for this devotion, providing rigorous, immediate, and reliable information throughout the year.
The implementation of this office has been underway since last summer and coincides with a particularly significant period, marked by the Virgin's stay in Almonte and the celebration of the Jubilee Year of Rocío.
The Office is coordinated by the deputy secretary Francisco José Pérez, who leads the Communication tasks. Local journalist José Miguel Saavedra joins the Brotherhood's professional team to carry out his duties. Additionally, Juan Manuel Domínguez will collaborate in maintaining and improving the website's content.
The initiative aims to bring, explain, and preserve the devotion to El Rocío through effective communication.
