Percussionist and composer Javi Ruibal, son of singer-songwriter Javier Ruibal, leads this instrumental formation promising a unique sonic experience. Ruibal, recognized for his career as a drummer, percussionist, and producer, has collaborated with various artists and now presents his own sonic universe.
For this occasion, Javi Ruibal will be accompanied by Óscar Álvarez on piano, who brings influences from European jazz and an elegant sound, and Diego Villegas, a notable multi-instrumentalist proficient in saxophone, flute, harmonica, and clarinet, thus enriching the group's expressive capabilities.
He builds a sonic universe where improvisation, folklore, and root music coexist, always from an open and contemporary perspective.
The trio offers a dynamic and emotional live performance, conceived as a journey between tradition and modernity. The proposal shuns labels, naturally transitioning between different musical languages where flamenco dialogues with jazz and Mediterranean music meets Latin American rhythms.
The performance will take place at Harina de Otro Costal, an emblematic cultural space in Trigueros housed in a rehabilitated old flour factory, which has established itself as a benchmark in the musical and artistic programming of the Huelva province.
