The 'El Carmen' Exhibition and Fairgrounds became the hub for classic motor enthusiasts this past weekend, attracting participants from various parts of Huelva, Andalusia, the rest of Spain, as well as from Portugal and other countries.
Vehicles began arriving on Saturday, displayed in several town streets before the main gathering at the Fairgrounds. Sunday concluded with the traditional parade route through Isla Cristina and La Redondela, which drew numerous residents and visitors.
“"This Saturday I enjoyed another edition of the Isla Cristina Classic Vehicle Gathering, an event that has rightfully become one of the major motor gatherings in our country."
Mayor Jenaro Orta highlighted the event's consolidation and the efforts of the Club Amigos del Clásico de Isla Cristina and its president, Juan Antonio Franco Martín, in making it possible. He emphasized the event's impact on the municipality, particularly the route that gathers crowds to admire these "true jewels on wheels".
Orta also underscored the significance of local associations and clubs, whose work enriches the annual program and attracts visitors beyond the summer season, thanking the municipal collaboration in facilitating the initiative.

For her part, the Councilor for Festivities, María del Carmen Beltrán, praised the weekend's atmosphere and the gathering's ability to unite enthusiasts and clubs. She noted the variety of vehicles and the public's response, as well as the importance of supporting initiatives that promote Isla Cristina as a tourist destination.

The president of the Club Amigos del Clásico, Juan Antonio Franco Martín, described the gathering as a success, thanking the participating clubs and enthusiasts, the local community's welcome, and the collaboration of the City Council and the Department of Festivities.
Following the parade, the vehicles returned to the Fairgrounds for a final exhibition, solidifying this event as part of Isla Cristina's activity calendar and an open-air motor museum.
