This initiative, which blends faith and craftsmanship, has mobilized numerous volunteers, brotherhood members, the TAU Nativity Scene Association, and the Youth Brotherhoods. The joint effort transforms the pavement into an ephemeral work of art that serves as a backdrop for the religious procession.
The designs decorate iconic spots such as Juan Carlos I Square and Fray Baldomero González Street. Citizen participation is essential in this process, as no prior experience is required to help create the tapestries.
The tradition, which was revived in 2019, has become a highlight of the local calendar, fostering community cooperation and showcasing the cultural and artistic heritage of Chipiona.
