The main operations focus on sand replenishment in the La Cruz del Mar-El Muelle area, a project that will continue over the coming weeks. These works, carried out in collaboration with the Andalucía Atlántico Coastal Authority, will also be extended to the Las Tres Piedras and Costa Ballena coastlines. The technical goal is to leverage low tides to redistribute sediment and consolidate sand strips up to 20 meters wide.
Organizational planning was the subject of a recent technical meeting involving municipal representatives, the Local Police, local associations, and companies responsible for lifeguard and rescue services. During this session, safety protocols, environmental quality audits, and the deployment of seasonal infrastructure for the summer were coordinated.
Once the sand leveling work is complete, the local government will proceed with the installation of walkways, surveillance towers, and service islands. The administration has confirmed that all technical and security deployments will be fully operational by the official start of the summer season, ensuring optimal conditions for residents and tourists on the Chipiona coast.
