The Local Government Board has given the green light to the expenditure authorization, the contracting file, and the opening of the award procedure for the asphalting works planned on eleven streets in La Algaida and five in the Las Dunas business park, in the Rematacaudales area. The total investment, including VAT, amounts to 404,724 euros.
In La Algaida, work will be carried out on streets A, C (left and right), D (left), E (right), G (left), H (right), J (right), K (right), LL (left), and M (right). Mayoress Carmen Álvarez has emphasized the importance of these improvements for residents, agricultural activity, and the local economy.
Meanwhile, in the Las Dunas business park, streets Miguel Servet, Severo Ochoa, Juan de la Cierva, Arturo Soria, and Siglo XXI will be asphalted. This action is part of a first phase to improve this industrial estate, which is of significant economic importance to the city and whose entrepreneurs have been requesting road improvements for years.
Carmen Álvarez highlighted that these street asphaltings in La Algaida and the Rematacaudales industrial park respond to a demand from residents, workers, and entrepreneurs, and that the municipal government has been working on it. "We continue to take firm steps with the aim of improving neighborhoods and other areas of Sanlúcar within the City Council's capabilities," she stated.
