The project, which seeks to renew both the aesthetics and functionality of this urban environment, includes the replacement of paving and the waterproofing of the adjacent building facade. Additionally, sidewalk slopes will be adjusted to optimize rainwater drainage and prevent seepage into nearby buildings.
The plan includes the installation of a new water collection network, the modernization of irrigation systems, and public lighting. On Acequia Chica street, a specific intervention will be carried out to promote the development of existing trees and improve the general conditions of the area.
This work is part of a broader plan by Motril City Council, which has a total investment of 1.7 million euros to act on eight urban environments and five rural roads in the municipality. The goal is to address maintenance needs and improve the quality of life in the city's various neighborhoods.
