Applications can be submitted through the municipal electronic headquarters. The funds are divided into four lines: the first, for projects of social or socio-labor inclusion for vulnerable groups (180,000 €); the second, for operating expenses and maintenance of entities (360,000 €).
The third line will finance projects aimed at improving the living conditions of groups affected by pathologies, illnesses, addictions, or physical or mental problems (230,000 €). The fourth line will be dedicated to programs for protection and prevention in childhood and adolescence, such as school dropout or care for at-risk minors.
The evaluation criteria for granting aid will include the quality, coherence, and viability of the project, the organizations' experience, social impact, and the number of beneficiaries. Each entity may submit a maximum of one application per line, with an exception for intervention projects with homeless people in line 1.
Beneficiaries may include all associations, foundations, and non-profit entities registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations and Entities of the Mijas City Council, whose scope of action is within the municipality, and which are up to date with their tax and Social Security obligations. The subsidized project or activity must have an impact on the municipality or benefit Mijas citizens.
