The new edition of the event was officially presented by representatives of the Casares City Council and the festival management. During the event, the town will become a reference space for creators, professionals, and the general public, maintaining its commitment to promoting cinema produced in Andalusia.
One of the most notable novelties is the record participation in the Express Shorts competition, which will take place from September 25th to 27th. This activity has reached a record turnout with 33 teams and 184 registered participants, who will have 48 hours to complete their works using the surroundings of Casares as the main setting.
The competitive section will feature a selection of five feature films, five documentaries, and 19 short films. Among the documentary titles, the festival will host two notable premieres. Additionally, training will play a relevant role with specialized courses for adults and art direction workshops aimed at secondary and high school students in the area.
