The Councillor for Festivals and Traditions, Isabel Moreno, and the Chief Superintendent of the Local Police, Sergio Luna, have provided information on the procedure for accessing the Fairgrounds with horses and carriages. Applications can be submitted online through the City Council's Electronic Headquarters or in person at the Local Police Headquarters, between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
Applicants must present photocopies of the rider's or owner's ID, the horse's Equine Health Card or Passport, and the Civil Liability Insurance with proof of payment. Once the process is complete, the Local Police Headquarters will issue a pass that will be sent to the applicant via email immediately and free of charge.
Isabel Moreno emphasized the importance of organization and safety at the fair, inviting interested parties to complete the process as soon as possible to facilitate access to the Fairgrounds, located in the Plaza de la Hispanidad.
For his part, Sergio Luna highlighted the exemplary behavior of horse riders and coachmen in previous editions and reminded attendees to comply with regulations, including specific hours for horse riding (from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with no access after 7:00 PM) and to follow the designated routes.
The objective of these measures is to guarantee safety and good coexistence during the festivities, ensuring that everyone enjoys the fair in an orderly and peaceful manner.
