The special service will link the city center with El Esparragal park every 30 minutes. Buses will run outbound from 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM, and return from 9:45 AM to 9:45 PM.
According to Mobility Councilor Isabel González, the aim is to facilitate travel for citizens and visitors to the popular celebration. The service will be free of charge and will feature two buses making the journey every half hour.
Departure stops from Fuengirola to El Esparragal include Avenida Condes de San Isidro (various points), Avenida Santa Amalia (opposite the Mosque), Paseo de Poniente (access variant), and El Esparragal Park itself. Departures from Pasaje Camboria will be every 30 minutes, from 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
At the Mijas recreational area, attendees can enjoy the usual day of community gathering. Fires or barbecues will not be permitted due to the time of year. There will be a food and drink bar, with proceeds benefiting AFA on this occasion.
Return buses from El Esparragal to Fuengirola will stop at the park itself, Avenida Santa Amalia (Mosque), Avenida Condes de San Isidro (various points), Avenida Matías Saenz de Teajada, and Pasaje Camboria. Departures will occur every thirty minutes, from 9:45 AM to 9:45 PM.
Isabel González encouraged everyone to use this free transport service for the pilgrimage, enjoy a day of community in El Esparragal park accompanying their Patron Saint, and do so in the most comfortable way possible, which is by bus. Schedules and stops are also available at the route stops, the Fuengirola Transporte Urbano app, and the Official Program for the Feria del Rosario 2026.
