The Madurez Activa municipal program is starting a new season, coinciding with the arrival of autumn and the celebration of the Day of Older Adults, which will take place this Sunday, October 4th, in Casares. The event will include a lunch and an afternoon of dancing and activities.
The Department of Social Welfare has prepared three distinct programs for Casares Pueblo, Casares Costa, and Secadero. The offerings combine healthy leisure activities designed to promote well-being, social participation, and an active life among the municipality's adults.
The proposals include craft workshops, informative talks, sports activities, and special services. There will also be bingo and dancing afternoons for enjoyment in company.
The calendar features several key gatherings to foster coexistence among residents from across the municipality: the celebration of the Day of Older Adults this Sunday; the Gerontogymnastics Meeting on October 29th in Secadero; and a dancing and social gathering afternoon on November 14th.
The season will conclude with a Christmas snack and a cultural outing, the destination of which will be announced soon.
