The mayor of Casares, Juan Luis Villalón, accompanied by government team members and municipal technicians, visited the renovation works on Los Naranjos street in Secadero. During the inspection, the status of the work was assessed, and the company was asked to complete the first phase's sidewalk as soon as possible to ensure safe pedestrian transit.
The local government has formally requested a detailed work schedule from the construction company and a commitment to complete the project within the established execution period. The works, which began four months ago, are scheduled for completion early next year.
The governing team considers the completion of the sidewalk and services for the first phase, pending only the final wearing course, a priority. This will allow for the immediate commencement of the second phase and, in the meantime, facilitate residents' safer transit through the area.
The renovation of the infrastructure on Los Naranjos street addresses a historical demand from residents of the Sotocolorado urbanization. The project, with a municipal investment exceeding 670,000 euros, includes expanding the rainwater collection network and comprehensively renewing supply infrastructure and other services, such as water, electricity, internet, and telephone networks.
This action represents a significant improvement for the infrastructure of the aforementioned urbanization. The Casares City Council reaffirms its intention to continue promoting new projects aimed at organizing various service networks and optimizing rainwater collection in this residential area.
