The Palacio de la Merced, headquarters of the Diputación de Córdoba, hosted the presentation of the poster for ‘Disoñamos’, a Designers' Meeting that will hold its XI edition on October 16, 17, and 18 at the Espacio Creativo y Cultural Santa Clara in Palma del Río.
The delegate for Economic Development, Promotion, and Employment of the provincial institution, Félix Romero, highlighted that the initiative “constitutes a cultural and creative proposal aimed at promoting design, author fashion, and own-brand labels, especially those linked to Andalusian identity and tradition”.
Romero added that this meeting “contributes to the cultural and economic dynamism of Palma del Río and the province of Córdoba, generating promotion and commercialization opportunities for participating companies and fostering the activity of professionals and businesses linked to the event's development”.
According to the delegate, the event's objectives align with the strategic line set by ‘Córdoba de Moda’, a proposal promoted by the Diputación de Córdoba through the Provincial Institute of Economic Development (Iprodeco).
Over three days, the event will include a program featuring the exhibition and commercialization of brands, stands, fashion shows, activities, and professional encounters, aiming to enhance the visibility, promotion, and professionalization of designers, artisans, and companies in the sector.
The president of Iprodeco also emphasized the participation of prominent Cordoban firms and designers in this edition, including Sara de Benítez, Mis pequeños Saltarines, Aragón Carmona, África Jurado de Tran Tran, and Munaré, highlighting the talent, creativity, and business capacity of the province's fashion sector.
Félix Romero announced that the Sevillian flamenco fashion designer Rocío Peralta will be the Ambassador of Disoñamos 2026, recognizing her career and contribution to the promotion and dissemination of flamenco and Andalusian fashion.
Finally, the provincial delegate concluded by stating that the initiative values the cultural heritage of Palma del Río and brings a cultural, commercial, and professional design and fashion proposal to the rural environment, open to the public.
