This measure is being taken due to the lack of agreement between the landowners and the City Council. The governing council, scheduled to meet next Tuesday, May 12, plans to approve one appeal and reject three others, in addition to definitively approving the occupation file for the plots affected by the first phase of this infrastructure.
The works, with a base bidding budget of 3,431,318.39 euros and an estimated completion period of ten months, are set to begin in September. The project is divided into two phases, including two straight sections interconnected by a roundabout and the redesign of the connection with the A-4.
The first phase covers the straight section from the industrial park to the intersection roundabout, which will coincide with Camino Street. From this roundabout, traffic will be directed, with a resurfacing of Camino Street until its junction with the A-4.
The Las Quemadas industrial park is considered a "mature industrial park" and a key economic driver for Córdoba. Despite having qualified access from the N-IV road, its connection to the A-4 has been deficient, using a secondary road not recognized by current urban planning regulations. The new project aims to correct these deficiencies and improve the park's road articulation.
