The ONCE's European lottery has brought luck to the Cordoban capital with a third-tier prize. The seller, Javier Morales, who sold the winning ticket near the Los Califas bullring, expressed his excitement while continuing his work.
Morales, an ONCE affiliate since 2012 and a seller for five years, described his surprise when the machine couldn't read the ticket, sensing a significant prize. "What joy for everyone, another reason to celebrate at this time of year," he commented, thrilled to have contributed to the winner's happiness.
The prize of €244,916.50 was the only third-tier prize awarded in Spain in this draw. The lucky winner matched the five main numbers, falling just two 'soles' (complementary numbers) short of the €120 million jackpot.
