The 'Ser Quien Soy' gala, organized by the Diputación de Córdoba, honored various personalities and groups this Friday for their commitment to diversity and bravery. The event is part of the activities scheduled for International LGTBIQ+ Pride Day, celebrated annually on June 28th.
Among the awardees was Fundecor's manager, María Ángeles Mellado Miranda, recognized as an 'Ejemplo Ser Quien Soy' (Example Be Who You Are). In the economic sector, the award went to the founder of Bissé Asesores, economist Francisco Cosano Maldonado. Writer and teacher Ana Requena Muñoz received recognition in the educational field.
The collective Pridelia Deporte Cultura received an award in the sports category. In arts and culture, designer José Rojas Savariego and Juan Manuel Poyato Cuenca were honored. Poyato, mayor of Zuheros and manager of the Cooperativa Olivarera Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro, was specifically recognized for his public initiative.
