The Youth Delegation of the Cordoba City Council has presented Festivales Planneo, a new cultural brand aiming to group music and cultural events for young people, promoting emerging talent and bringing programming to different city neighborhoods.
The initiative seeks to foster healthy leisure and promote emerging talent, decentralizing cultural offerings to various areas of Cordoba. The presentation was led by deputy mayor and Youth delegate, Cintia Bustos, who highlighted the values of Cordoba's youth as inspiration for the brand.
Festivales Planneo is created with the objective of unifying diverse cultural and musical proposals under a single identity, offering leisure alternatives tailored to the interests of young people. "We want all young people to have a space within the Youth Delegation's programming, regardless of their musical or cultural tastes," stated Bustos.
One of the fundamental pillars of this initiative is the distribution of festivals across different city locations, aiming to encourage neighborhood participation and broaden the reach of municipal programming. The events will include various genres such as flamenco, urban music, and electronic music.
The first major event will be the fourth edition of the Festival Flamenco Planneo, scheduled for July 10 at the Parque del Flamenco. This year, the festival will pay tribute to the dance academies in Cordoba's neighborhoods for their role in disseminating and preserving flamenco art.
“
"We wanted the dance academies to be the protagonists of this edition to recognize those who have brought flamenco art to the neighborhoods for many years."
The festival will combine emerging artists with established flamenco figures. Confirmed performers include guitarists Juanjo León and Álvaro Mora, singers Rafa del Calli and Reyes Carrasco, and dancers Manuel Liñán and Miriam Cuevas. Musicians like Álvaro Mora and Rafa del Calli, with their training and ties to Cordoba, expressed their satisfaction with participating in this initiative.
The Festivales Planneo brand also supports young creative talent, with corporate imagery designed by Jesús Calzada and the flamenco festival poster by illustrator Javier González de la Borbolla. The Youth Delegation aims to serve as a platform for young professionals in design, illustration, and art.

"For me, it's a very beautiful reunion with Cordoba and also with many colleagues with whom I have grown artistically and personally."
