The month of June has left the province of Córdoba with a significantly drier and hotter climate than historical averages indicate. According to data compiled by the Phytosanitary Alert and Information Network (RAIF), which depends on the Junta de Andalucía, the province has experienced a significant deviation from the values recorded in recent decades.
The average temperature across the Cordoban territory reached 26.77 ºC. This figure represents an approximate increase of over 2.70 ºC above the historical reference value. This rise places the thermal anomaly at an 11.22% increase, positioning the province among the areas in Andalusia with the most pronounced deviations at the start of summer.
