The Mobility Delegation of the Ayuntamiento de Córdoba has approved the creation of preferential parking spaces in the Zumbacón neighborhood, bordered by Avenida de la Igualdad, Los Almogávares, and Agrupación Córdoba. The streets included in this new regulation are Avenida de la Igualdad, Balanzona, El Vacar, Villaharta, Alhondiguilla, La Granjuela, Valsequillo, Espiel, and Avenida Virgen de Linares.
The Resident Parking Zone (ZAP) will be in effect on weekdays from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM the following morning. On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the restriction will apply for 24 hours a day, thus guaranteeing residents' mobility and rest. Outside these periods, parking will be freely accessible.
To benefit from the ZAP, applicants must be registered residents in the designated streets, and the vehicle must be in their name (owned, usufruct, rented, or leased) and up-to-date with the Mechanical Traction Vehicle Tax (IVTM).
Initially, one permit will be granted per registered person who meets the criteria. Subsequent authorizations for other vehicles under the same owner's name may be obtained by providing the driving licenses of cohabiting family members registered at the same address.
Renters who are not registered residents may obtain a permit limited to one year by presenting their current rental contract. For renewal after the first year, registration will be a mandatory requirement.
Commercial establishments within the zone can also apply for permits by providing a certificate of Economic Activities Tax or self-employed registration. These authorizations will have a longer validity, up to five years.
The management of applications will be centralized through the ACIERE Office of the City Council, requiring documentation such as driving licenses, responsible declarations, and contracts. Once approved, an official identification card will be received, which must be visibly displayed on the vehicle.
