Córdoba CF is preparing to discover the order of its opponents and the exact dates for the upcoming season in the Second Division. The calendar draw, an event anticipated by fans, will take place this afternoon at 8:00 PM in Plaza de Colón, Madrid, organized by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).
The competition will officially commence on the weekend of August 15th and 16th, with the possibility of the first matchday extending to Monday, August 17th. The regular season will conclude on Sunday, June 6th, leading into the promotion playoffs, which will be held between June 9th and 20th.
As a novelty, this season's calendar will be asymmetric, meaning the order of matches in the first half will not be repeated in the second, although the venues will logically be inverted. Furthermore, there will be no midweek fixtures, with all games concentrated on the weekends set by LaLiga.
Before the league begins, Córdoba CF players will undergo medical examinations next Monday, July 6th. The team faces the new campaign with renewed energy and ambition, incorporating new faces and with several absences compared to the previous season's squad.
