The project, initiated in 2024, focuses this year on the physical and mental health of young people and will take place in Pozoblanco and Córdoba. The delegate for Sports of the provincial institution, Antonio Martín, highlighted the importance of supporting programs that address the integral well-being of schoolchildren.
Martín emphasized the commitment of the Provincial Council of Córdoba to these training activities, describing health education from the grassroots as an investment in the future of the municipalities. Approximately 400 people are expected to participate, mainly students of vocational training cycles in Physical Activity and Sport.
The participating educational centers in Pozoblanco are IES Antonio María Calero and Colegio Salesiano, while in Córdoba they are López Neira and Colegio Cooperativa de Enseñanza. The workshops will be held on September 30 in Córdoba and on October 6 in the Auditorium of the Pozoblanco Fairgrounds.
The event will feature high-level speakers. Antonio Escribano, Doctor of Medicine and Professor of Sports Nutrition, will give the talk ‘Habits and Health’. Meanwhile, Beatriz Crespo, Doctor of Medicine and Sports Performance, will deliver the lecture ‘Mind and Life’.
