These financing operations, managed through the Institute for Cooperation with Local Treasury (ICHL), will provide the provincial institution with the necessary capital for the execution of various works and infrastructures. The president of the Diputación, Salvador Fuentes, accompanied by the head of Treasury, Ana Rosa Ruz, highlighted that these funds will drive essential projects for the province.
The planned investments cover areas such as hydraulic infrastructures, municipal equipment and infrastructures, road improvements, and the renovation of provincial buildings. Furthermore, progress is being made on the project to create a large public park for protected rental housing.
Fuentes emphasized that these operations represent a significant boost for key investments, responding to the needs and demands of the province's town councils. Unicaja will contribute 13 million euros, while Banco Sabadell will provide four million euros.
The selection of both financial entities was based on an analysis of variables including the offered financial conditions, such as the spread over the twelve-month Euribor, and the number of municipalities in the province that have branches of each entity.
