The event, organized by the Brotherhood of the Rosary and Santa Rosalía, will feature Juliana Melo González as the speaker. Melo, a Sign Language interpreter and a teacher of Catholic Religion in Early Childhood and Primary Education, will be introduced by Juan de Dios Sánchez Mensaque, her predecessor.
The exaltation will be accompanied by musical performances from the Choir Virgen del Rocío of Gines, the Children's Choir of the Brotherhood of El Rocío of Gines, and Juan Cortés Melo on the violin.
This proclamation marks the beginning of the services honoring Our Lady of the Rosary. The Brotherhood will hold a Solemn Triduum from October 4 to 6, concluding on the 7th with the Main Service. During these services, the images of the Virgin of the Rosary and Santa Rosalía will be present.
As a prelude to the services, on Saturday, September 26, the Procession of Arrival of the Saint of Palermo will take place from the Hermitage to the Parish, starting at 9:00 PM.
The highlight of the Rosary Festivals in Gines will be the processional departure of Our Lady of the Rosary and Santa Rosalía through the town's streets, scheduled for Saturday, October 17.
