The initiative, in collaboration with the Vice-Rectorate for Students, aims to address the most urgent needs of those affected. After contacting residents and local representatives, it has been confirmed that basic food needs for people and domestic animals are now covered.
The appeal now focuses on two main priorities: cleaning products, such as bleach, detergents, disinfectants, and cleaning tools (mops, buckets, brooms, gloves), for the recovery of homes; and food for farm animals and wildlife, primarily feed for rabbits, chickens, and poultry, as well as seed mixes.
The campaign will run until next Thursday, July 23rd. Donations can be delivered on weekdays at the reception offices of the Faculty of Humanities and the Student House (CAE), during morning hours (9:00 AM to 2:00 PM) and afternoon hours (4:00 PM to 8:00 PM).
The Student Delegation and the involved deans invite the entire university community and the public to participate, emphasizing that any contribution, no matter how small, is vital for the recovery of Los Gallardos and Bédar.
