The municipality of Íllora is preparing to present an ambitious program that combines heritage, gastronomy, live music, and its traditional Royal Livestock Fair, aimed at both professionals and the general public. The agenda includes major events such as the Royal Livestock Fair and the launch of the Para-Latido Fest, a new music festival to be held next October featuring rock, reggae, and indie bands, as well as DJ sets.
During the presentation event, the most significant events that will boost the town in the coming months will be announced. Among them are popular gatherings such as the III Fair of Must and Tradition and the II Festival of the Slaughter. Furthermore, the quality of the municipality's accommodation, commerce, and restoration offerings will be highlighted, with its showcase event being the III Íllora Commerce Fair, scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
Next week, the Royal Livestock Fair of Íllora will fill the fairgrounds with the unique atmosphere of one of the most traditional fairs in the province of Granada. The municipal stand will host a lineup of completely free performances featuring Paco Candela, La Tentación, the show “Flamenco en la Feria”, orchestras Travesura, Rebelión, Melodías, duos Voltaje, Golden Show, and Caribe Show, in addition to DJ Murxas. The “Villa de Íllora” Music Band will perform a street parade to the fairgrounds.
The program also includes activities for younger audiences, such as the gymkhana “Treasure Hunt at Íllora Castle”, focused on local heritage. In the artistic sphere, the Municipal Museum will host the exhibition “Bitácora íntima” by painter Fernando Borrego, featuring a selection of 20 works. To conclude, a magnificent equestrian show will be presented where purebred horses will dance to the rhythm of flamenco in perfect harmony of sound and movement.
