Located on Almenillas street, this new reception point was presented by Mayor Antonio Salazar. It is designed to be a central hub for visitors interested in Íllora's rich historical heritage, with a particular focus on its castle and available tourist and cultural routes.
The space has undergone a complete transformation, featuring modern furniture and audiovisual equipment. The office now provides informational materials and brochures in four languages, catering to the growing demand from international tourism.
“"Soon, an innovative 3D model of the castle will be installed, offering an interactive and sensory experience adapted for blind, deaf, or cognitively impaired individuals."
Future technological enhancements include the introduction of an audio guide system for the castle. This service, accessible via radio guide devices and QR codes throughout the monument, will allow visitors to learn its history in Spanish, English, French, and Italian. Additionally, an interactive 3D model of the castle will be installed, designed for inclusivity and accessibility for individuals with diverse needs.
