The Fusión Velillos Festival will once again transform the Plaza de las Flores in Moclín into a musical meeting point on Saturday, August 1st, starting at 10:00 PM. The event, which offers free admission, reaffirms its commitment to bringing culture to rural areas and consolidating itself as a prominent summer event in the province of Granada.
This year's lineup will be headlined by Antony Z, a Granadian artist with significant national projection, and Juancho Marqués, a well-established voice in the Spanish music scene. The lineup is completed by Curro, Dr. Fli, and Barbass Sound, offering a program that emphasizes musical richness, diverse styles, and connection with audiences of all ages.
The Deputy of Culture and Education, Pilar Caracuel, along with the Mayor of Pueblos de Moclín, Marco Pérez, presented the initiative. Both highlighted the festival's philosophy of being a free, quality event that fosters the coexistence of different musical styles and generations, serving as a rural cultural benchmark and a significant tourist attraction for the province.
Pilar Caracuel emphasized the Provincial Council of Granada's commitment to accessible, quality culture reaching all corners of the province, demonstrating that rural municipalities can host major cultural proposals.
For his part, Marco Pérez highlighted that the Fusión Velillos is a hallmark for Moclín, consolidated over eighteen editions, contributing to the local economy, promoting heritage, and placing the municipality on the province's cultural map.
