The registration period for this course, which aims to provide greater knowledge of the Sierra Nevada Natural Space, its natural and cultural values, and visitor management, ends on September 25, 2026.
The training will be in-person, combining theoretical introductions with practical visits to the territory. The program includes separate outings for accommodations and activity companies, culminating in a joint session in the Western Nevadense area.
Requirements for participation include being located within the scope of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (CETS) of the Park, complying with applicable legislation, and carrying out activities compatible with the Plan for the Management of Natural Resources (PORN) and the Plan for Use and Management (PRUG).
Individuals undertaking the training must perform reception, attention, or visitor escort functions, with mandatory attendance at field trips.
The sessions will take place in the Alpujarra of Almería (October 5) and the Alpujarra of Granada and Almería (October 13 and 19), covering topics such as universal accessibility, volunteering, and visitor safety. The joint outing is scheduled for October 26.
