The official presentation of the program was attended by the Mayor of Écija, Silvia Heredia, and the delegate for Major Festivals, Raquel Miranda. They were joined by Luna Pérez Flores, author of the event's poster; Alfonso Gálvez, head of the Sevillanas Competition; local artists María Arroyo and Leire Cornejo; and Esther Ostos, delegate for Social Inclusion, Equality, and Family.
Emphasis was placed on the collaborative work with the Caseteros Association, which has led to significant improvements, including legal opening licenses for all booths, enhanced aesthetic design of booth entrances, and guaranteed security during setup. The fair's booths will feature a unified white and blue color scheme, with scarves provided by the City Council, aiming for a safer, more organized, and visually consistent fair.
New features for this edition include an extended 'quiet day' and an increased discount for 'Children's Day' to 60%. On Sunday, all attractions will be priced at a discount after 9:00 PM. The ONCE Lottery Coupon for September 20 will be dedicated to the fair. The Children's Daycare Booth and the Écija Comarca TV booth are also expanded. Fireworks will return on Sunday for the fair's closing, a decision agreed upon with the Royal Fair Council.
The fair's main entrance arch will be larger, measuring 16 meters wide by 14 meters high, adorned with 13,210 bulbs and 79,260 LEDs. The fairground will host a total of 28 booths: 20 traditional, 4 youth-oriented, and 4 City Council booths (Municipal, Daycare, Violet Point, and Municipal Television). Additionally, 5,000 fans and 5,000 fair magazines will be distributed.
Regarding inclusion, protective helmets for children with ADHD or ASD will be distributed daily by Civil Protection. The 'quiet hours' for attractions will be extended to three days (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM without music. Seniors will be honored on Sunday evening with a free 'Royal Tapas' and a performance by Nuria Fergó. The fair will also feature a bullfight on Sunday at 6:30 PM, a mano a mano between Talavante and Miranda.
Pre-fair events include an equestrian show on Friday, September 11, and a DJ music festival on Saturday, September 12. Local artists like Leire Cornejo and María Arroyo expressed gratitude for the opportunity to perform in their hometown. The III Andalusian Sevillanas Dance Competition “City of Écija” is expected to draw over 250 participants.
The fair's lighting will feature 407,202 LEDs, over 4,250 meters of garlands with 8,500 bulbs, and 90 LED spotlights. The equestrian attire contest, organized by the El Arenal booth with the City Council's collaboration, will pay tribute to D. Javier Silva Laguna.
