The Écija City Council has obtained Erasmus accreditation, granting access to Vocational Training mobility opportunities for approximately six years, with a score of 84 out of 100.

The Erasmus accreditation will allow the Écija City Council to access mobility opportunities within the framework of Vocational Training for several years. Écija will participate in annual calls with the guarantee of always obtaining subsidies for requested mobilities, enabling the council to rely on the program's support for new activities each year.
This accreditation offers opportunities for growth and discovery, allowing for the exploration of new types of activities or collaborations with new partner organizations without the need for separate applications each time. It facilitates the creation of a personal strategy, providing the freedom to define objectives and choose the pace of progress, with the ability to update the plan as it evolves.
Investment in the future is strengthened by stable access to funding, allowing the Écija City Council to focus on long-term mobility objectives. Mobility activities can be used to gradually improve the quality of teaching and learning.
Currently, the ERASMUS+ Project in Écija includes mobilities for students in Intermediate Vocational Training Cycles from centers affiliated with the ERASMUS+ Mobility Consortium “ASTIGI IN EUROPE”: IES San Fulgencio, IES Luis Vélez de Guevara, IES Nicolás Copérnico, and EE.PP. Sagrada Familia. Mobilities for teaching staff from these centers and municipal technical personnel are also included.
The Progress and Accreditation Report submitted by the Écija City Council to the Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE), part of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, achieved a total score of 84 out of 100. Specifically, the Erasmus Plan progress report scored 43 out of 50, and Erasmus Quality scored 41 out of 50. Regarding basic principles and good management, 16 out of 20 points were obtained, 17 out of 20 for quality and participant support, and 8 out of 10 for dissemination, results, and knowledge.
ERASMUS+ is a European program offering opportunities for study, training, work experience, and volunteering abroad, covering all educational stages. In Vocational Training, the Écija City Council, in collaboration with local high schools, aims to enhance students' employment prospects and develop their entrepreneurial skills, fostering alliances between education providers and the world of work.
Mobility through this program offers advantages such as completing the center's training offerings with language proficiency development, improving participants' employability through internships in companies, and influencing beneficiaries' attitudes and aptitudes to enhance their professional competencies.
