The agreement was signed on Thursday, September 24th, by the mayor, Pedro J. Ramos, and the association's president, Francisca Lozano. The Councilor for Citizen Participation, Priscila Martínez, also attended the event.
The subsidy, amounting to €1,500, will be specifically allocated to "promoting associationism for seniors in the neighborhood with the greatest degree of transformation needs in the municipality," as stated in one of the agreement's clauses.
During the signing, discussions covered the operations of the association's current and upcoming initiatives, with a particular focus on the Las Cuevas neighborhood.
Mayor Ramos encouraged the association to continue its work for the benefit of the area's residents, emphasizing the Ayuntamiento's ongoing collaboration and active participation in the neighborhood's social reality.
