The Mirador del Cascamorras, located in Las Arrodeas, has been chosen for its altitude and low light pollution to enjoy the natural phenomenon. Access will be via the quarry road or San Pedro Mártir park, with mandatory exit through Cuesta del Francés.
In coordination with the Fire Department, Local Police, and National Police, Civil Protection will monitor the area to ensure a tranquil viewing experience. Parking will be provided, waste containers installed, and emergency medical assistance offered free of charge.
The operation will be active from 7:40 PM until past 9:00 PM. The peak moment of solar obscuration is expected at 8:30 PM.
The head of the Governance department, Mª Carmen Sánchez, reiterated official recommendations: use certified glasses compliant with ISO 12312-2, utilize designated areas, respect the environment, avoid parking on dry vegetation, do not litter, keep emergency access routes clear, and exercise common sense.
